  In the world of Whitetail hunting, the Golden Triangle is synonymous with Monster Bucks. This hunter's paradise has both the food and genetics to consistently produce world-class deer.

Located in Brown and Schuyler counties, Illinois Whitetail Traditions of Richardson Farms is the place for the serious trophy whitetail hunter. Our staff has over 80 years of experience outfitting and hunting this area. We have produced giant bucks at a rate unmatched by any other outfitter.

Richardson Farms is composed of more than 9,000 acres of the very best hunting property in Illinois, over 7,000 acres of which is contiguous, creating a block of land over 15 miles in circumference. Corn, soybean, and alfalfa fields provide the nutrition bucks need to grow huge racks. Richardson Farms also provides several Biologic food plots that feed bucks when crops are out of season. Bedding sanctuaries, creek bottoms, river bottoms, big timber, and C.R.P. fields surround these food sources and provide everything a big whitetail needs.

We believe that in order to harvest mature trophy bucks on a consistent basis, a hunter must have a combination of productive land, experienced guides, and low hunting pressure. Unlike most outfitters, we do not overbook hunts; we offer a set quota and that is all. Furthermore, we screen our clientele. A new hunter must either come to us with strong references or go through an interview process before booking with us. Our goal is to provide the best hunting experience imaginable to only the serious trophy hunter. This careful selection process has allowed us to maintain a 50 percent KILL ratio over the past several years. We enforce a strict 140 inch gross, 3.5 year-old minimum on our harvests. Hunters who disregard this minimum scoring criteria are charged a $1500.00 fine and jeopardize their chances of another hunt.

Also available to our hunters at no additional cost are the best tracking dogs known to man.

All Bucks taken must meet a strict 140"minimum gross Pope & Young score. Any buck taken not
meeting this requirement will result in a penalty of $1500 due immediately upon harvest.

Gun or Bow Case (It is law in Illinois for the bow to be in a case, hard or soft, during transportation. If you do not have a case, a pad lack or some type of locking device around the cable or cams of the bow is legal.)
